Frequently Asked Questions
How does the remuneration approximation is done?
The traveling cost, duration of a lecture, lecture count per month, media, student’s class, curriculum, number of subjects to study everything is taken into consideration. However, this is just to help new students to get the idea of remuneration scheme. This has nothing to do with the individual availability post of tutors. Tutors quote their remunerations based on their experience and the factors stated earlier.
Why can’t I change some fields in the application form?
Application form takes data from your profile and the tutor’s profile dynamically. If anything is mismatched , that means either you or the tutor has an incomplete dataset. In that case I would suggest you to update your profile information.
Why can’t I apply to any more posts?
To avoid spamming and contacting multiple tutors at a time , we have allowed students to apply once in every 24hrs. Within this 24hrs the tutor will contact you. If the tutor doesn’t confirm then you can apply to another tutor after 24hrs of your last attempt.
How the comments are made on tutor’s teaching style?
Once any tutor confirms the tuition officially, you will get a confirmation mail along with a pdf. Only after that you will notice the ‘comment on tutor’s teaching style’ button on your profile , clicking on it will show a pop up form for commenting. It will contain the tutor’s BUET ID and your email account as read only field ,so that there remains no question of spamming. However you can add new comment or edit and delete previous comments that you made on your tutor’s teaching style.
